3D object is a mimic potion bottle with a hair piece.  This mimic hides in plain sight with other potion bottles.  When a humanoid figure comes within striking distance, the potion bottle will come alive and attack them.

This was inspired by two things: The time a fox ate my chickens and the time that I remembered seeing a strange pair of legs without a body walking in the backyard (I am not making that last one up. I vividly remember what happened that day although I still question whether it happened or not).
